Position
- We have a great contract opportunity for a Senior Application Analyst (Cloud Platform) to work on their Openshift Cluster. The resource will provide subject matter expertise and additional capacity to the operational team. Duties will include support for Openshift environments (cloud and on premise hosted), management of the clusters, implementation of best practices, and frequent engagement with developers, DevOps lead, product owners, project managers, senior leadership.
Requirements
- Experience directly managing Kubernetes environments
- Experience managing a production service in an enterprise using cloud-based infrastructure and/or using Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience supporting Linux operating systems
- Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience with replicating environments (either manually or through Infrastructure as code)
- Experience working in or for the public sector.
Desirables
- Experience as a DevOps Specialist supporting the continuous delivery of custom-built solutions
- Experience directly managing Red Hat OpenShift environments
- Experience in the Government of Alberta environment or an environment of equivalent size and complexity.
- Experience with Disaster Recovery architectures, processes and tests
