Position
- The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for establishing the full project foundation - developing program charters, roadmaps, Gantt charts, business plans, and risk assessment frameworks - while driving the creation of policies, governance structures, documentation, and operational processes required for FINTRAC oversight.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree, diploma or certificate in IT, Computer Science or related field of study.
- Available to lead frequent (daily) face-to-face meetings in Edmonton with clients and technical teams.
- Experience in a project management role.
- Experience working as a Project Manager on a large complex custom software application development project (where the software is developed in-house for that specific organization) in an enterprise environment.
- Currently active PMP or PGMP Certification as issued by the Project Management Institute or equivalent (attach a copy of the certificate)
Nice to have
- Experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships across the organization, including executive level.
- Experience developing change management deliverables including Change Strategy and Plans, Training Strategy and Plans, Stakeholder Impact Assessments, Communication Strategy and Plans.
- Experience leading complex (multi-stakeholder and multi-technology) projects.
- Experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in drafting strategic business and technical documentation.
- Experience working with MS Project tools
