Position
- We have a great contract opportunity for a Sharepoint Analyst who will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for the SharePoint environments. You will collaborate closely with end-users, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of SharePoint sites and applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- University degree, two-year diploma, or one-year certificate in related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Experience as a Site Collection Administrator.
- Experience preparing and documenting materials for user acceptance testing.
- Experience troubleshooting forms and workflows (all types).
- Experience using and supporting ShareGate.
- Experience with complex SharePoint projects including solutions depending on: managed metadata, workflows, forms, and user interface customization.
- Experience with the development, integration, and support of Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online.
Desirables
- Experience applying patches/updates to SharePoint environments.
- Experience in developing integrated system and technical design specifications on complex engagements.
- Experience using PowerShell to manage Farm/Application/Site Collection/Site Features.
- Experience with disaster recovery testing
- Experience with Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online admin portal, reporting, configuration, and administrative tasks.
- Experience with the Government of Alberta's Information Technology/Information Management policies, standards and guidelines.
- Experience with the use of Central Administration on a SharePoint environment.
- Experience with upgrading Microsoft SharePoint environments and migration of content.
